Analyze DSD, local, regional and major national distributors including sales representation for best mix of resources from go-to-market and launch to scaling volume and sales channel/retailer requirements.

Human Resources

Analyze, define and develop needed skill sets and the organizational structure from inception to scale including: organizational charts, job descriptions, compensation, wages and benefits, company mission and culture. Focusing on both talent acquisition and retention. This includes in house and use of outsourced talent to optimize resource allocation in alignment with costs.

Finance & Budgets

Build budgets, financial and inventory plans 3-5 years forward looking, with clear assumptions to create a roadmap for growth, investor outreach/fundraising, capital needs, use of capital including investor funds, and cash flow management.

Customer Acquisition & Retention

Map out and prioritize key markets to optimize profitable growth, sales and marketing channels in order, market by market with data to support that defines and explains why the plan makes good business sense. Focus end-to-end on account acquisition, sell through, retention and growth including in store, on shelf and online product merchandising, placement management, demonstrations and samplings.

Operations

Assess current co-packing relationships to dig more deeply into the economics of producing the products and COGS including identification of co-packers, MOQs and costs.
